Needed A Hug

I’m in Arizona today and I decided I needed to get out and get some fresh air and sunshine. Well, it’s pretty windy too.

But I was sitting here and in the desert, you can see there is nothing out here, but the snakes and the oh, probably scorpions and everything else. But I was sitting here and I was thinking about what it feels like to be in the desert.

It’s just someone. It’s scary.

Well, I didn’t thought about one of our patients, a new patient that came to us just the other day, he was sitting there and he looked so depressed and so sad. And I had to go hug him and he started crying.

And when he started crying, I said, I’m so sorry. So no, no, no, these tears of joy. You’re the very first person that has hugged me since I was diagnosed.

No one wants to be around me because they’re afraid.

Don’t be afraid of them.
