Hi, I’m Dr. Branyon with New Hope Unlimited. And today’s video, I kind of wanted to tell you about potatoes, and which ones are good for cancer and which ones to stay away from. So let’s begin.
First of all, I want to tell you that we have seen thousands of cancer patients and their families and one thing that most everybody does now is to get on the internet and look to see what Dr. Google thinks and what Dr. Google says. Well, that’s not always a great thing, I’m going to ask you to please limit your internet time because I want you to stay away from the negative, you are not that group of people that they’re talking about, you may be different. And if you keep a good mindset, that means you can be different. So don’t get on the internet and think about all the negative that you can hear. Because the US sometimes nowadays is not always they don’t always hear and see the good things because the protocols are just not meant to be that way.
So also, I found that cancer patients will get on the internet, looking for the perfect cancer diet. Well, we absolutely have no time to do a full cancer diet in this video, I wished we could because I love talking about diet, and what is good for cancer. And once again, you can not believe all those cancer diets, you can make yourself even sicker.
Patients can become what they call cachectic that’s a word for cancer patients when they are malnourished, getting malnutrition, and that sort of thing. That’s a whole other story. And hopefully one day we’ll get to that.
But today, I want to talk about potatoes. Oh yes. You know, back in the old days before any of us were born, probably the potato farmers came over from what I understand Ireland, and they brought an introduced potatoes. And it’s been a staple that through hard hard times, it can really help keep us alive. But now, things have changed. Of course, potatoes are not the same potatoes that they used to be in the old days, things are changing with genetically modified organisms or whatever you want to call it. But GMOs. So even the potatoes, the white potatoes are not the same. Unless you’ve got a good old farmer, you know, but regardless, I’m talking about potatoes, or cancer today, not or just sustaining life. But for cancers.
Studies have come out with a lot of different things. And they have found that there’s certain constituents and certain foods that can cause what they called apoptosis. Apoptosis means something that happens and causes cell death. Now we want apoptosis to cancer. We want that cell death. And so they have found scientifically that there is definitely constituents in certain foods that do it. So let’s talk about what are the good potatoes and the one we need to stay away from? Well, let’s talk about the one we need to stay away from first.
The good old I guess you would call it Irish, rustic potato. It looks like this. I haven’t bought one of these in a long time. So I had to go to the grocery store and buy one. So the reason I haven’t bought one and believe me, I love baked potatoes are any kind of potatoes. I am. I grew up on potatoes, I love potatoes. And they tell me that when you’re farming potatoes are one of the easiest form even in containers. So keep that in mind. But that’s the white potato. I’m gonna call it a white potato is the one potato that I really want our cancer patients to stay away from. It’s got to wait too much starch, and it doesn’t have as many constituents in it for cancer.
Now right now I want us to concentrate on cancer fighting Foods that those cancer fighting foods are also going to be wonderful foods, that’s going to help keep the rest of the good cells happy. On white potato, what happens when you peel pretty much quickly, if you fill in a bunch of potatoes like incredible potatoes, and you pick them, and you set them down, by the time you might be through, you pick it up, and it looks brownish, brownish. That’s because it’s a lot of starch, a lot of starch and what is starch, starch is going to break down into glucose.
Now I’m not going to say sugar because it is sugar is a word that is very much slang, in the US, glucose and table sugar is two totally different things. And I hope to give you a lecture on that real soon. Glucose, we need glucose. But glucose is in every one of our God given foods, because he he, our Creator, actually knew that we need glucose. In order to get the brain to work the axon, the neurons won’t fire unless they’ve got enough glucose. But now let me tell you, this sweet potato has way too much glucose. And when glucose when the starts goes into breaks down into glucose, then that’s when we can get a glycemic index problem.
Glycemic Index is a little bit more one that I want to describe in this video because we just don’t have the time. But the pancreas, you’re on the left side, not on my right sits on the right side. And it really filters out and it helps keep the glucose problems in check. Now if we eat a lot of glucose at one time, that’s gonna swing that like glycemic index. But the main reason is we’re looking for constituents that will call sell cancer, cell death or apoptosis. White potatoes don’t do it. However, I will tell you the ones that do and they are just as great as the white potatoes once you get used to using them. But before I get into the ones, that’s going to be the substitute for the white potatoes, I want to tell you the really great news.
There is studies first came out of Japan. But there’s more and more studies. The first studies showed that sweet potato has proved to to break off the blood supply that cancer cells will create to reach the patient’s blood supply. Because cancer cells scientifically know two things to that it really wants to eat to stay alive. Now that’s going to be table sugar, refined sugars. We’ll talk about that again sometime. But it also needs patients iron. So it will create its own little bloods supply to kind of finger into one of the blood supplies for real blood supplies that the patient has to pan and a few other studies have proven that sweet potatoes have constituents in it that will break off destroy those finger like blood supply that the cancer created in order to reach that but supply it’s not going to harm your good supply because that’s a natural supply. Your cancer cells will make those extra blood supplies that are not normal to suck in the extra good blood of this. The real supply. This sweet potato has constituents like and then oh, we say it slowly because it’s hard to say. I tried to say it fast but Anthocyanins Okay, Anthocyanins, let me just spell it for you because I have to look at it. Some words are hard for me. A N T H O C Y A N I N S very important word. Even though I can’t say it all the time. Some days I do sometimes I don’t. But very important word. Any, any foods that have that in there. You want that. Okay?
So sweet potatoes, I’m going to beg you cancer patients learn to love the sweet potatoes. It can help you out. So someone just wrote you a prescription. Now, I’m not trying to be your medical doctor or your naturopathic doctor or your doctor at all right now, because that’s not legal. In today’s world. Even though I’ve gone to medical school, I’m not licensed to be your doctor. So I’m not prescribing. But this is, and it can be used to help you in many ways.
Now, remember, the white potato, we’re going to let go up. But let’s think about red potatoes in purple potatoes. Oh, learn to love them. They are wonderful for killing off cancer, they’ve got Anthocyanins. And they’ve got a lot of other great great things constituents science has proven, these will help kill off cancer cells.
So what I’ve done in the past, instead of my baked potato, I taken red potato replicates. And our purple potatoes, whichever one comes first, there is a little price difference in the purple potatoes and the red, purple, and the red, and the red potatoes, at least where I live. So I do tend to use the red potatoes of when I want to make mashed potatoes, or baked potato or whatever. Sometimes this little tiny potato I need to add to to make that one bacon potato. But that is fantastic news. And it’s coming from real life studies, mostly the studies have come out of Japan. But this very important to pay and does, I will tell you Japan has some what I think is some of the best cancer studies, it’s coming out in the world right now. So I follow them quite often, a lot. And I want to bring those to you the best I can.
But it is very important. Change your diet. Be careful with what you eat. And, of course, we want organic, the best we can. But instead of your white potatoes, Li learn your sweet potatoes, you can make sweet potato fries, you can do to just do a lot of things with sweet potatoes. Oh, and you can put cinnamon, cinnamon is a wonderful detoxifying agent, you can do that cinnamon without sugar, you can put a little bit of organic butter, or do what I do good extra virgin olive oil.
I do want to do a lecture on olive oil, because that is absolutely medicine. But we’ll talk about that again later. But I will use olive oil instead of butter sometimes all my potatoes, you can do just a lot of things if you just use your imagination. But remember, no white potatoes while you’re trying to heal from cancer. And actually, if you’re trying to just get well from any diseases, but sweet potatoes is your friend, your real friend. And then instead of whites that go to the purples and the reds.
Thank you for being with me and spending your time I hope I’ve given you a little bit of extra knowledge that you kind of wondered about or didn’t know about. But the main goal is to do something to help you find your cancer or to help you help the people to stay healthy. And now I hope you will take this and take it with you and tell others so that they can get healthy and stay healthy.
Remember, love yourself. Tell yourself out loud you love yourself and try to tell three people each day that you love them because it’s scientifically proven, that will help your immune system. It will help you feel better about yourself and even definitely help others. Thank you for being with me. Love you guys.
