There’s recent discoveries being made with the help of functional brain imaging, showing that if we dwell in certain mental states for long periods of time, those mental states will shape our health. There’s four different types of personalities: type A, B, C, and D. Type A people are high achievers, competitive, impatient, ambitious, and prone to health heart problems. Type B, people are laid back, they can be the social type relaxed, never have blood pressure problems, and they usually don’t have any specific increased disease risk. Now, type C people are the ones who hold everything in. They never say no. Sometimes, they tend to be the caregiver. They do very little to think about their own well-being. They’re usually prone to cancer. Type D people are usually sad, anxious, typically depressed, and they’re prone to chronic pain, asthma, and skin problems. We are what we think.
