The Powers Of Cayenne – Turn Up The Heat!

The Power Of Cayenne - Turn Up The HeatThe Cayenne plant (capsicum annuum) is a hot fruit that has been used as culinary spice for centuries. This spice is perhaps the most valuable medicinal herb in the herb kingdom. It is excellent for the entire digestive system as well as for the heart and circulatory system. Being high in calcium, potassium and Vitamins A, C, and B complex, cayenne can also rebuild the tissue in the stomach and the peristaltic action in the intestines. Cayenne acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs and alternative cancer treatments. The active ingredient in cayenne is called capsaicin. Cayenne will warm the body and stimulate the release of mucus from the respiratory passages, much like it feels after having that salsa with gusto. This spice can actually raise the body temperature a bit, as it stimulates your circulation and blood flow to the skin. This type of herb promotes fever and sweating, and considered to have a diaphoretic (sweat-inducing) action that can help reduce fevers and relieve the congestion of colds and sinusitis.

In 2004 Dr. Sanjay K. Srivastava, and colleagues from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, treated pancreatic cells with capsaicin and found that it disrupted mitochondrial function, and induced apoptosis in the cancerous cells without affecting normal pancreatic cells. A study was published in the April 20, 2005 issue of Innovations Report where he stated that it demonstrated that capsaicin was a potent anticancer agent that induces apoptosis in cancer cells, and produces no significant damage to normal pancreatic cells. This indicates its potential use as a novel chemotherapeutic agent for pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Soren Lehmann of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center reported, “Capsaicin had a profound anti-proliferative effect on human prostate cancer cells in culture. It caused 80% of the prostate cancer cells growing in mice to commit suicide in a process known as apoptosis.” Japanese researchers have also shown that cayenne pepper can dramatically slow the development of prostate tumors, so is an excellent addition to an alternative cancer treatment for this type of cancer. The heart has been incredibly nourished by the use of Cayenne, and it has been known to stop heart attacks within 30 seconds.

Dr. John R. Christopher suggests carrying a cayenne tincture in your first aid kit in the event of a heart attack. He has never lost one heart attack patient, if they are still breathing, by pouring down a cup of cayenne tea down the patient’s throat, made with a teaspoon of cayenne in a cup of hot water. Within minutes the patient is up and around.

Cayenne may also be useful in the treatment of obesity. Herbalists from centuries would pour cayenne pepper directly on fresh wounds in order to sterilize and stop the bleeding. Over 90% of us have worms or different parasites in our systems. If you drink a cayenne drink daily, this will get rid of them.

So fill up that glass with water or juice and add ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and down the hatch. You’ll get used to it! The amazing curative powers of cayenne are almost mind-boggling, and it is more powerful than any other herb you could possibly use in your lifetime.
